Neurobiology is an integral part for understanding the structure and function of the brain, and is a research field for understanding the specific characteristics of nerve cells, such as their growth, differentiation, and death. This classroom is dedicated to research to understand the structure and function of the brain in normal or pathological situations. For this research, neurophysiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and behavioral neurobiology research techniques are based on neuroanatomy. etc., and the main research areas are as follows.

1. A study on nerve cell damage and protection in ischemic brain
2. A study on endogenous nerve regeneration in the brain following normal aging or damaged brain
3. Morphological study of neurosubstance in the central nervous system following normal aging
4. Medicine research for nerve cell protection, nerve regeneration promotion and anti-aging in the central nervous system
